so, its been so long since ive updated my journal. it seems like everytime i update i start with that. i just about forgot that i even had a journal. hmm, there's no way i can write about everything that has happened since april so ill give a breif summary of what i remember, im sure im forgetting a ton of stuff.
April: -i turned 24 -newburgh water front opened up
May: -ali and jocelyn both moved home -court came home for the summer and she just left last weekend to go back. i wish i was going back to school.
June: -whoo hoo, celebrated by 1 year anniv with erik, thats a record! -meg came home from hawaii -meg, court and i threw a surprise 25 wedding anniv party for our parents at the italian center in poughkeepsie, they were so freaking happy/surprised that my mom was even crying
July: -went to erik's cousins wedding in DE -saw some fireworks on the river -jocelyns wedding shower -joined golds gym in newburgh since world gym was turning into planet fitness and they werent going to have classes anymore, its better becasue its like 2 minutes from work so i can get to the 5:30 classes
August: -got my hair highlighted blonde again -went to jocelyns lake house -was supposed to hang out with the girls but as usual, it fell through- one day soon hopefully (congrats to Erin for getting a job in Virginia)
ok that was a short update, guess its a good thing i only update every few months since i dont really have much to say.
lets talk about erik. 'may- i love erik more, june- i love erik even more, july- erik is the best and i love him yet more, august- i didnt think i could but yes, i love erik more'.... he really is the best ever. he drives me up the freakin wall becasue he wont just do what i say - you know im a brat and like to have my way all the time but when it comes to certain things, he just wont budge. im working on it though and im sure he will see the/my light eventually. i totally just have fun hanging out with him watching tv. it sounds odd but im so content just being around him. he really understands me like no one else ever could. i know im being a bit sappy so i will stop, cant talk about my feelings to much. :-P

Here's part of a song from Jessica Simpson... I'm not crazy :)
The real me is a southern girl with her Levis on and an open heart Wish I could say the save the world, like I was super girl The real me is to laugh all night lying in the grass just talking about love But lately I've been jaded life got so complicated
I'm still thinking about it almost forgot what it was like Do you know what it feels like? Cause with you I can let my hair down I can say anything crazy I know you'll catch me right before I hit the ground With nothing but a T-shirt on I never felt so beautiful Baby as I do now Now that I'm with you With you Now that I'm with you

HaHa Hawaii
So Erik and I spent 12/5- 12/13 in Hawaii. It’s not all it’s cracked up to be, at least not for us! Let’s see, what happened: 12/5- we left Newburgh around 8:30am, landed in Chicago then caught our flight to Hawaii. Flight went ok, long (8 hours) but at least it was a pretty smooth ride. We landed at the airport at 4:23pm where Meg and Nik met us with some purple leis. By that time we were exhausted and just wanted to crash. We went to Subway, got some sandwiches with the girls and then went back to their house. They all went out, but we just went to bed. 12/6- We got up early to go hike up Diamond Head, got to see a good view of the Honolulu/Waikiki coast. Afterwards, we drove around the coast stopping at Hanauma Bay to take some pics to kill some time before we went kayaking in Kailua Bay. We walked along the beach there for a bit before it was 1pm- time to kayak. Went out to 2 different islands, the 2nd one was a bit far and harder to get to with the waves. Eventually we landed on the 2nd island and hung out there for a little while. Got some cuts and bruises after trying to push off that island while the waves were crashing on us. Drove around a bit more before heading back to the house. Went out for some pizza that night then headed back to the house and went to bed relatively early again (that time difference was killing me). 12/7- Woke up early, cut up the pineapple that Meg had gotten for us to eat and headed out, stopped and got some Maui caramacs (so yummy), ate some of both and went out driving trying to find Manoa Falls, crazy traffic with streets that make no sense, 1/2 way down the roads they change the names, nothing made sense so we decided to go to the Dole Pineapple Plantation. We took the Pineapple Express train tour then came back and had some pineapple ice cream. After, we drove up to the North Shore to check out the big waves but I wasn't feeling so hot after the pineapple- chocolate cover caramel w/ nuts- pineapple ice-cream combo, and I threw up at one of the lookout sites. Didn't feel much better but we kept driving anyway. Erik told me to tell him to pull over if I was going to get sick again, but I thought I would be fine, but before I knew it I threw up all over a towel in the car. Later that day, we went to Pearl Harbor to see the Arizona. Luckily it stopped raining just before our tour boat headed out the memorial. Meg and her housemates took up down to Waikiki to go out to dinner at Dukes. It was a decent place, a bit to crowded for my liking (90-minute wait for a table). Seemed like it would be more of a place to get drinks and hang out on the beach rather than a place to sit down and have dinner. So after walking the strip there and having dinner, we attempted to go home. At this point it was pouring rain, and H1 (5-lane highway) was at a stand still. I still wasn't feeling up to 100% and again, I hadn't completely adjusted to the time difference yet. Meg called to say that her car had broken down a little bit behind us. Nothing we could do at that point, she called again in like 30 minutes to ask us where we were- yeah, we were in just about the same spot. The road was flooded or there was an accident, or something. Oahu needs more roads. 12/8- We flew out to Maui early in the morning, lets see, i'm getting tired of writing, we drove the Road to Hana, saw the 7 sacred pools and some black sand beaches. We hiked up to the Haleakala Waterfall (or something like that). 12/9- We drove up to some National Park, again I forgot the name, and hiked down into the crater. Went to the Luau that night at our hotel. Had a good time, ate some good pig that I didn't think id like but it turned out to be really good. Drank our drinks out of a pineapple. Yeah, fun time. Well, until Erik was sick all night puking. 12/10- flew to the big island in the am. Went to the beach on the kona coast. Walked around and saw the town at night. 12/11- drove to the Hilo coast the next day making stops to hike and see the green sand beach, the black sand beach with sea turtles on the sand, and volcano National Park. 12/12- flew back to Oahu, went to visit Meg at school with her kids, one gave me a hug, and Meg later informed me that that kid had lice. Went to see the USS Missouri and then went to Waikiki to walk the strip, after walking for awhile we went to the car to get our cameras to capture the sunset. We then went to dinner at cheeseburgers in paradise, for some good burgers and strong drinks. Upon arriving at our car, I soon realized that the car had been broken into, the glove compartment was open and my wallet and his watch were both missing. He then realized that the other backpack was missing from the backseat, which held 10 rolls of film that he had taken, and some souvenirs. And yes, our luggage was also taken from the trunk. 4 police cars showed up to investigate and get the police report. Where were they before it happened? They were able to dispatch 4 cars, i'm sure one could have been patrolling the area if its known for its high crime rate. 12/13- by now we are ready to come home, but we went to the beach with meg for a few hours before heading to pack up the few things that we had left. Spent 12 hours in the Chicago airport 8am- 8pm. Finally made it home around 11:45pm Sunday night. That’s it- that's our trip!

wow, just about another month has gone by since the last update.
Im starting to get excited about my trip to hawaii, hope i dont drive Erik completely nuts on the plane ride there! December 5th, i cant wait! 15 more days!
Lets see, whats been going on, got to go to a customer site on thurs oct 23, friday oct 24th. it wasnt as exciting as i thought it would be.
friday oct 31- halloween, not a single trick or treater came to the door, i was kinda disappointed, wish they had cause then i woudlnt have eaten so much candy. oh yeah got to go back to the customer site for some more fun times.
friday november 7th- decided i needed a drink and some wings after work, talked to tara and melissa and met up at noahs. mmm pinapple and vodka- one of my weaknesses. stayed a short while and attempted to go home at about 8pm. to bad there was a boot on my car and they wanted 70.39 for it. i called the guy but he woudlnt come til i came up with the cash, i tried to explain that i couldnt go get $ with the boot on my car but he just kept telling me to calm down and not to panic. its a good thing erik was on his way to meet me at my house, gave him a call and he met me in the parking lot, BEST! so after that, i packed a bag and we headed out to denise's place for a night of drinking. relaxed for the remainder of the weekend.
friday nov 14th, went out to the bar for a few drinks after work, went to denise's house to change and headed out for the nite, guess there was some diva action going on, something about giving dirty looks and threatening to hit some girl, so what if i was calling her fat, i dont think she was that fat, i just think the stupid headband/crown thing that she was wearing for her birthday looked stupid, and i guess i wanted to let her know.
had to get up early on saturday and head to the end of long island for another customer visit, got to catch up with Erin at lunch time, filled her in on some gossip and she gave me some too, just the usual.
got a phone call from jocelyn on sunday, shes engaged, i dunno, i know people are married by the time they are 23, its just that none of close friends were til now. i thought we were to young for that, seems like we were just in highschool, where did the time go? we really are getting old. i think i may be starting to realize this, the denial is wearing off. 23, yeah thats just about mid 20s, before ya know it its late 20s, then the big 30.

look at this nonsence, makes me want to go out and get some taller shoes!
WORKPLACE REWARDS TALL PEOPLE WITH MONEY, RESPECT, UF STUDY SHOWS Oct. 16, 2003
GAINESVILLE, Fla. --- Short people may be short-changed when it comes to salary, status and respect, according to a University of Florida study that found tall people earn considerably more money throughout their lives.
“Height matters for career success,” said Timothy Judge, a UF management professor whose research is scheduled to be published in the spring issue of the Journal of Applied Psychology. “These findings are troubling in that, with a few exceptions such as professional basketball, no one could argue that height is an essential ability required for job performance nor a bona fide occupational qualification.”
Judge and Daniel Cable, a business professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel-Hill, analyzed the results of four large-scale research studies - three in the United States and one in Great Britain - which followed thousands of participants from childhood to adulthood, examining details of their work and personal lives.
Judge’s study, which controlled for gender, weight and age, found that mere inches cost thousands of dollars. Each inch in height amounted to about $789 more a year in pay, the study found. So someone who is 7 inches taller - say 6 feet versus 5 feet 5 inches - would be expected to earn $5,525 more annually, he said.
“If you take this over the course of a 30-year career and compound it, we’re talking about literally hundreds of thousands of dollars of earnings advantage that a tall person enjoys,” Judge said.
Height was associated with subjective ratings of work performance, such as supervisors’ evaluations of how effective someone is on the job, but also objective measures of performance, including sales volume, he said.
Being tall may have the effect of boosting employees’ self-confidence, helping to make them more successful, as well as prompting people to ascribe more status and respect to a tall person, he said.
Tall sales people who are admired by customers, for example, may be seen as more persuasive leaders and may be able to negotiate more effectively, Judge said. As a result, customers may be more likely to buy from them, he believes.
“If height has the social status we think it does, it stands to reason that tall people would sell more cars because they’re seen as a more authoritative source on the matter,” he said.
The relationship between height and earnings was particularly strong in sales and management positions, Judge said. But the study also showed a correlation for employees in less-social occupations, such as engineering, accounting, computer programming and clerical work, he said.
Each one-inch increase in height resulted in an increase in annual earnings of $897 in the one study, $728 in a second study and $743 in a third, averaging to be about $789 more a year, Judge said. It was not possible to get estimates for one of the studies because of the way salary was categorized.
The research showed that height was even more important than gender in determining income, and its significance does not decline as a person ages. The study found it was as predictive of earnings when employees were in their 40s and had accumulated some work experience as it was when they were in their 20s and were just starting out, he said.
Height’s commanding influence may be a remnant of our evolutionary origins, when humans lived among animals, which use size as an index of power and strength when making “fight or flight” decisions, he said.
“When humans evolved as a species and still lived in the jungles or on the plain, they ascribed leader-like qualities to tall people because they thought they would be better able to protect them,” Judge said. “Although that was thousands of years ago, evolutionary psychologists would argue that some of those old patterns still operate in our perceptions today.”
The average height of Americans today is 69.1 inches - about 5 feet 9 inches - for men and 63.7 inches - nearly 5 feet 4 inches - for women.
It has been more than 100 years since U.S. voters chose a president who was shorter than the average man, Judge said. Elected in 1896, President William McKinley, at 5 feet 7 inches, was ridiculed in the press as a “little boy,” he said.
Even language reveals the social value of height, Judge said. When a person is highly esteemed, he may be described as a big man, and people may say they look up to and admire those who are tall, he said.
Conversely, the term “Napoleon complex” is used to describe how some short people compensate for their feelings of insecurity over lack of stature with aggressive, belligerent or arrogant behavior, he said.
Not only does the emphasis on height raise issues of fairness in our society, which protects a variety of protected classes from discrimination, but it may have unforeseen economic repercussions, Judge said.
“If we have a bias against short people and that bias is not shared by other countries, we have placed ourselves at a competitive disadvantage,” he said. “If we’re giving great weight to an attribute like height that’s irrelevant to performance on the job, then we’re introducing error in our hiring and promotion decisions that causes inefficiencies in our economy.”
Sara Rynes, Murray professor in the department of management and organizations at the University of Iowa, said the research examines some interesting issues. “The bias that Drs. Judge and Cable observe seems very difficult to eradicate,” she said. “Indeed, I recently read that because of the widely perceived advantages of height, an increasing number of parents are seeking growth hormone therapy for their shorter-than-average children.”

nothing to exciting going on. the weekend was eventful. started off with happy hour with the co-workers, got home around 3:30am, and slept til noon, woke up to my parents in a cleaning frenzie, so got yelled at for having shoes in every room, its not my fault that where ever i take them off is where i leave them.
so i eventually got out of there and headed upstate to visit jared. went out to dinner and just hung out and watched a movie. sunday we went rollerbladng and to the mall for clothes that i could probably do without since i cant really wear them to work and i dont do much else outside of work, but yeah i got a cute skirt and a few of those sheer t-shirts.
back to work today, blah.
went running, no walking at all whoo hoo!
i am trying those crest whitening strips but i think they are going to make my teeth fall out, they kind of hurt. so i figured it would be a good idea to stop for a few days.
kasey is coming up to poughkeepsie on friday, after she finishes rock climbing in newpaltz or the catskills or where ever she said. so we have to go out, rennys?
kristy is coming home from utah on friday night , so i think we are meeting up in NYC at calico jacks again, that place is great, no more dancing on the bar though!

again, its been a pretty long time since i've updated.
the pub crawl in the city was a blast, got to the city around noon, had some time to spare so we went to toys R us in times square, and a few other stores. so we signed up for the pubcrawl down in greenwich village and got started around 3pm. a few of jareds friends were there and my girls erin and lauren showed up too. drank til we couldnt anymore, then took the train home at about 1am, i slept the entire way. sunday was a chill day, got to get my rollerblades back on and practice a bit with them.
so tuesday the 15th i turned 23, so at work they got me an ice cream cake and surprised me with it. the day was pretty good, beautiful weather, i ever got ot do my psych run, meg came over for some ice-cream cake with mom and dad, its just not the same as having a birthday while you are in college. no one is around anymore, kinda sucks.
so friday night i decided to go out with the co- workers for a drink after work at 5pm, yeah 10 hours later at 3am, i finally strolled in my house. had so much fun, i didnt want to leave.
saturday i got alot of stuff done, woke up at a relatively decent hour, went shopping, tanning, running, and a shower all by 3pm. jared came down late saturday night and we just hung out for a bit, the easter bunny came on sunday and left me some goodies that i try so hard not to eat all at once. :-P went over to billy & susans house for some dinner, and played on the trampoline for a bit.
so for the past 2 days its started raining just before 5pm when i get out of work, at 4:30 im like yeah its nice out i can go running today, but by the time i get outside - its raining. soo frustrating.
thats about it, less of an update that i thought.

so i havent updated in a really long time so i may as well do it now. i think i left off with 2 weekends ago, jocelyn came home from boston but was making maple syrup all day saturday so we didnt get to hang out until saturday night. so that night we went to the best western to see an x-rated hypnotist, turned out to be pretty funny and im really glad i dindt decide to be a volenteer, i would have been totally embarrassed. the next morning we all met up at jocelyns house for some breakfast- pancakes with the maple syrup that she had made the day before, yummy.
the week was blah, then last weekend i took a road trip with sara and cara to go visit ali in rhode island for her birthday , had a few bacardi O and sprite drinks before we left on saturday night, then we ordered a van to drive us around for the night, i think thre guy had a few drinks before we left too, he got out to open the door for us and let us in , but then he had locked himself out, but you would think one time would be enough, but after we were leaving hte 1st bar to go tothe next, we had to wait becasue the van driver had locked himself out withthe van running. he was a character. tried a raspberry cosmopolitan, liked it and had another one, we were all a mess by the end of the night, but overall had a great time. was a very rough ride home on sunday, we woke up at 2pm and we were all paying for the night before. but i'd do it again :)
so this week went well- got a phone call on monday from the reception desk telling me that i had gotten a delivery, i was kind of surprised and confused, but then i went to go pick it up and it was flowers, jared had sent me my favorite flowers- daisies, really unexpected, just for the fun of it. he came down to visit on tuesday night and brought me some 'belly flops' which are jelly beans that didnt pass inspection at the jelly belly factory, either there are 2 stuck together or the words jelly belly isnt written on it, taste good to me, and a container to put them in with a scooper thing, so they are sitting on my desk at work. so wednesday night i went up there, cooked some dinner and watched some tv.
alright almost all caught up on whats been going on here. friday night was quiet, jared came down so we went to dairyqueen and watched a movie. saturday we met up with kenny and stacey for some lunch at the everready diner. then we started our night at about 7pm, went to the hyde park brewery (kerri is working there now) , noahs (some dude was joking and hit his friend in the chest so the friend goes and hits the guy back in his face and he starts bleeding, there was blood all over the floor by the pool table- we just wanted to watch the bball game), then the new derby- 96 main or whatever it is called now (pretty good crowd, less of a marist crowd), madhatter (saw meg and all her friends, i was dancing- you know thats bad news, but i only had a few drinks) , then we finished up at foxhole (but had to leave becasue some dumb girl was yelling at some guy and there was a fight or going to be a fight and the police showed up) so we ended up getting home around 3:30am. it was a fun night out. today we slept in, went tanning (well i did, yeah i know its bad- blah blah blah) then went to the marist concert at the bardavon. had some dinner at billy & susan's house, good as always, then that leaves me here,
whew, thats the just about complete update, i forgot some stuff, but ill spare you the really boring details, besides i cnat remember anything else.
oh NYC next saturday for the pub crawl, anyone want to go? its going to be alot if fun.
and my courtney is coming home to go the prom - i'll have all your stuff washed and folded in a pile just like i promised.

"sippin on coke and rum I'm like so what im drunk it's the freakin weekend baby I'm about to have me some fun" -R Kelly
that was pretty much the theme of 2 weekends ago when kenny and stacey came up to jared's place with me. we went to this place called jillians in albany where the bottom floor is an arcade with a bar, and the middle floor was a resturant type place with a bar, and the top floor was a dance floor with a bar. so we started at the bottom floor and worked our way up to the dance floor when we were drunk enough. played a few close games of airhockey (jared and i won just about everytime, i dont lose), and car races, up on the dance floor i must have been drunk if i was actually dancing in the bamboo cage around the pole and then eventually up on the stage, i jsut kind of folllowed stacey up there. that saturday we went to see 'old school' which was pretty funny, that night jared was sick so we just stayed in and watched some movies. sunday we went bowling and we did pretty well, i got the top score, j/k but i tried.
so last week at work was pretty uneventful. friday night i cooked dinner at jared's place. some lemon chicken and rice, and tried out the new wine opener, im a good cook, well not exactly but it was edible. so we slept away saturday, which was pretty disappointing when we finnaly got to go outside since it was so nice out. hate to waste a good day inside. went out to dinner, and picked up some movies to watch. fell asleep during the 2nd movie so we finished it up sunday morning. got some dunkin donuts, drove around, tried out the new mall- latham circle, jared got a haircut, its so cute. went to block buster, returned the movies and got some xbox games, played some wrestling, i kick ass, then i had to leave.
met up with ali and her sis, and brocko on sunday night to see 'bringing down the house' which was good since i havent seen ali since like thanksgiving. so she went back to RI and im back in poughkeepsie as usual. going to newplatz to meet with an advisor about getting my MBA, im just bored after work , i need a hobby, or some classes or something. swimming twice a week just inst cutting it.
so the parents are leaving for punta cana on friday at 3am so im going to be staying at billy& susans house watching brienne and danielle for the week, should be fun. thats about it.

so, its been a crazy long time since ive updated in here, but i just dont care, i talk to you all anyway. but after being asked to do it a few to many times, i decided to update.
ive been spending my weeks in newburgh at work, and my weekends in albany at jared's place.
so last week during that big snow storm (work got canceled caue of the show emergency, whoo hoo) i went to shovel the snow out of the driveway and i woke up sore the next day, so i decided that sucked and i must be way out of shape if im getting sore from shoveling. and since i hate the gym and the idea of running on a treadmill, i checked into the pool hours, so now im gonna go swimming when the pool is open (mon, tues, thurs 8-10pm) to swim my laps.
work is ok, nothing really exciting there. albany is fun, last weekend we went out for the guiness toast and ended up getting interviewd by the local news, and since we were home at 11, we were able to see how dumb we looked on tv. on saturday, we got some shopping done and went out to dinner then came home and played the new xbox games. slept in on sunday, went out for lunch and then went bowling, i didnt win, but almost ;-) got a high score of 88. not sure whats planned for this weekend, nothing really yet, hopefully catch that new movie 'old school'.
heard it was supposed to snow thurs to friday night, it better not interfere with my driving. nothing really interferes with my driving, although just yesterday it was snowing, well flurries really and the snowflake landed on my windsheild and i was starring at it becasue you could actually see the flake rahter than just some white spot, yeah im a dork.
and some sad news since i last updated: joey- courtneys dwarf hampster died, i think he was just to fat.
my dwarf hampster has also taken a turn and is vicious, he wont let you go near him or he bites, he drew blood last time, almost as bad as a paper cut. i should over feed him and let him get fat casue then he will be slower and happier.
so on the spanish channel there was this parrot, and he was speaking spanish, weird.
enough nonsence, mayby it wont be a month and a half til my next update.

so the city was alot of fun, erin and i managed to make our way around without to many problems, went walking around canal street, then to little italy for some lunch, then we were walking back and everything was covered over and we dindt know why until we saw the police patting down some guy in handcuffs. so that was the end of our shopping trip. we went back uptown to times square to go and play in the new Toy R Us there, it was great, way better than fao schwartz.
so courtney and i went out to dinner on friday night then went to the airport to meet up with jared. saturday jared and i went to the mall in search of an outfir for me to wear to the jamacian beach party that night. so we were shopping and we went into the jewelry store just to "look around" and i saw a pair of earings that matched my diamond teardrop necklace and so jared goes "can i see those" and i was looking and they were pretty close, next thing i know he goes "i'll take them" i was like whaaa??, so yeah then we went to best buy and i got my cd that ive been wanting- the dixie chicks, not my typical music choice but i wanted it and i listen to it on the way to work in the mornings so i dont have to listen to the stupid morning shows.
so we met up with kenny and stacey at marist and went to the beach party, it was alot if fun, had a fire eater, limbo-ing, hermit crab races, carcatures- cartoon drawings, and photographs on the beach, with the background scanned in. it was a good time, nothing id ever expect from a company party.
so sunday we slept in (of course) then went to the hyde park brewery for some lunch then up to vanderbuilt mansion to walk around and watch the sunset, then we went to the movies to see 'maid in manhatten', not my favorite movie, but it was kinda cute, i wasnt really in the mood for a cheesy movie.
so then later we just chilled at home and jared left to go back to texas again :-( but the good news is that he will be back this weekend so im going up to see him in argyle, and meg and court will be gone when i get back from the weekend, they are going back to school on sunday i think. back to a quiet house- just as i was getting used to having them around again.
so i think its strange that it was light outside at 5pm tonight, isnt it usually still dark at 5? or have i just never noticed?

so christmas was good, went to CT last weekend to chill with lil kris (who came home from CA), lisa and erin. hung out, got some lunch, then went out to a strip of bars called the exchange in hartford, redding, newhaven, new britain... where ever we were somewhere between kristen and lisa's house. had a good time, slept at lisas, got some breakfast in the morning and went home.
so monday i decided id go on my no caffeine kick for awhile, gonna do that until next saturday, 2 weeks without caffiene is long enough, but im getting used to it, not getting the headaches and tiredness like before.
so new years i went to my cousins house and hung out with the family, first time that i can remember that i was sober and at home to see the ball drop.
got to go home early from work yesterday, more friggin snow, the roads were pretty bad, traffic was going like 20mph on I84, and 3 cars were off of the road, 9w was a slow-go too. but i eventually made it home.
so the theme for work is jamacian beach party, figured id just wear a cut off jean skirt and a blue t-shirt, and some tall flip flops, thats what id wear to the beach in jamacia, well im not sure yet... got any ideas?
so i did a tae-bo workout today, i know im gonna be hurting tommorow, thats what i get for being out of shape.
so im going to NYC tomorrow to meet up with Erin for some shopping, should be interesting, hope we dont get lost. we are going down to canal st. where ya bargain/haggle with the people over prices, but im a pushover so i hope erin is better at it than i am.
jared gets home next friday night/ saturday morning, so im gonna go help him shovel out his car at the airport after all this snow and ice. that thing is gonna be plowed in there real good. thats about it for now.

so this past weekend was great... jared took me to this really nice place up in saratoga for dinner on saturday night, then we came home and wached a movie, had some wine and pretended that it was new years eve, to bad i was dead tired and barely made it to midnight.
so the next mornin was christmas morning and we went to church and then exchanged gifts and stuff. got an automatic car starter, some mountain dew, some lotto scratch off tix and the movie 'analyze this', and some Denver mint quarters (yeah i collect them).
came home on sunday night and went to work on monday, got sent home early for the holiday with my christmas bonus, and then had yesterday and today off. ugg i really dont want to go to work tommorow.
so got some cool stuff from the family too, clothes, peacoat, automatic toothbrush, simpsons talking watch (well i got 2 of them now since kenny got me one for christmas at work too- mmm... burger, and cool your jets man), car wash stuff, dunkin donuts certificates, gloves, scarf, braclet, and a few other things.
got a dwarf hampster from meg and court, its the cutest little thing about the size of a golf ball, although i think it is scard of me, i named him keebler, ya know christmas -> elves-.keebler elves but everytime i got ot touch him he swats at me then runs to the other side of his cage.
so we had 3 dogs here last night, jodi out neighbor was getting a puppy for christmas so we were hiding it for awhile, i named her 'saturday', their other dog is named friday and saturday comes after friday so that makes sence. and meg is watchng the dogs that belong to the teacher that she was student teaching with this semester, but since the storm was supposed to be really bad, she didnt know if she would be able to drive to see them and let them out and stuff, so she just brought them here for awhile (a yellow lab and a black lab).
i think thats about it for now, blah... work, i wish i had a month off like the past 4 years, this 2 day off crap sucks! yeah and getting my car outta the driveway is gonna be a pain in the ass tomorrow, there is already about a foot out there and no sign of stopping. eh well.

so i havent updated in a long while. last weekend was great... jared spent the week in NYC training for his job, so i left work a little early and took the train down there for the weekend. So i get there in the pouring rain (i figured out the whole subway thing all by myself, yeah :) ) so i met up with jared and erin and a few others. we went to some sports bar called the skybox, it was pretty good, we were only supposed to go out for a few drinks (erin had to be ready to study for her finals and stuff), yeah that didnt happen. kristy and one of her friends met up with us there, she was already pretty wrecked from the train ride in. we had a few there then decided to go to another bar over on 42nd and 2nd, i cnat remember the name of it, but it started with a C i think. but it was alot of fun, kristy and i ended up on top of the bar dancing (free shots, why not ?) sketchy people at the bar though, some dude asked if kristy and i were sisters and if we had a 3some or if we were interested in having one that night. and some really short dude was hitting on erin, he told her how happy he was that she was shorter than him and how thats rare (he was 5'2 or something really short like that). so after the night of drinking jared, erin and i hit up the diner. erin ended up puking that night and was pretty hung over the next day. so saturday we met up with lauren, kasey and lisa, and kristy again to do some shopping, see the rockerfeller tree and then out to another bar that night, jared and i went home early that night, and erin also left early to go home to long island. one night of hardcore drinking was enough for me for awhile. so some guy at penn station asked lauren for her autograph, she told the sketchy guy that she wasnt famous, but he goes can i have ur autograph anyways, she goes no, he goes well how about your phone # instead. weirdos. so jared and i came back to my house afterwards, went xmas shopping on sunday and then had dinner at my house, nothing out of the ordaniary except that when we got home there were 140 bottles of wine in the living room. apparently my uncle bought part of some winery out in millbrook and made a lot of wine and gave it to us, so we labeled it and now we have alot of wine, its all in the basement - 4 different kinds, yeah i already tried all of them :) so monday jared tells me that hes going to texas for a while, that was a shock and a half. he gets home late tonight though, so im going there this weekend to celebrate xmas and new years all in one casue he has a flight back to texas on xmas day until the 10th or the 11th of january to go to my work holiday party at anthonys pier9. thats about all for now, ill update when i remember more.

so courtney keeps bugging me to update, not sure why though, i talk to her all the time and she knows whats up, that and no one else reads it anyway. but here i go...
court brought joey home, hes sucha cutie- fun to play with. thanksgiving was the usual, went down to long island with the family, ordered out thanksgiving dinner and then went home shortly afterwards. went up to jared's place on friday, got to meet his whole family, stayed there til sunday morning then came home but court had already left to go back up to oswego so i missed her, but she will be home soon enough for an entire month for winter break.
worked all week, nothing to exciting with that, im still working on the same account, but i get to start a new project soon that is supposed to last 6 months, so that should be interesting.
tuesday was the really cold day that i heard all the schools were closed but i didnt know why until i got on the roads, and it was really slick out there. so im driving along rt9g and i was gonna trun down fulton but there seemed to be backed up traffic so i kept going straight, when i got to west cedar street, i was gonna trun there, but decided it was to slick to make that turn, so i went straight cept the school bus turning onto rt9g from west cedar slid/ drove into the road in front of me, i came about 2 feet from totaled car #2, i tried to brake but i had no control of the car but luckily my car stopped just in time. so then i went around the bus that had pulled out and was freaked out the rest of the way to work.
stupid snowstorm on thursday... everyone left owrk early to get home safely, i left at 3:30 and didnt get home until 5pm, traffic was so slow, there was an overturned tractor trailor, and 2 cars stuck in the median of I84 (i only drove from exit 6 to exit 10) but the roads werent plowed and they were tricky to drive on.
so jared came down on friday, and lisa texted and voice mailed me saying she was coming up, so we met up at noahs, had a fun time- some of the old crew guys were there too. so weird, it was like a mini alumni weekend, after hearing how many people came up, im sorry that i never met up with jolene or kristy, i havent seen either one of them since graduation.
so this coming weekend looks good, its starting to come together, we are supposed to all meet up in NYC. jared is gonna be there all week, then the girls are supposed to come fri nite/ saturday. go see the tree in rockerfeller center and have a few drinks to warm up. who knows?
so i went apartment shopping with jared, tough decisions, to many choices. glad im not in that situation, oh wait i wish i was :-P
thats about it, nothing to exciting, got a week of work to look foward to, jared comes back tommoorw for the nite before heading down to NYC.
tried xmas shopping, but idndt do to well, damn mall is to tempting.
